The 3rd Annual Central Georgia Regional Health Summit will convene the regional partners of the 7 counties (Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, and Twiggs). involved in the Health Summit process. The Health Summit serves to discuss the health burdens that are evident within our central Georgia region.

This event convenes a wide variety of community partners that include a growing group of concerned community members and leaders representing a variety of industries and areas of expertise, such as healthcare, K-12 public school systems, grassroots advocacy groups, community gardening and farmers market initiatives, the business community and Chambers of Commerce, City and County Officials, universities and colleges, and more.

As a healthcare advocacy non-profit, CHW wants to continue the discussion of changing unhealthy habits and lifestyles in central Georgia for both children and adults, and how we can better our neighborhoods, region, and state. This conference will be focused around the theme of Wellness within Reach! The agenda will be more formalized as the date draws closer. Please check back with the website for more information.
